The Healthy States Initiative

The Healthy States Initiative was created through a partnership of The Council of State Governments (CSG), the National Black Caucus of State Legislators (NBCSL) and the National Hispanic Caucus of State Legislators (NHCSL).  In addition, the Association of State and Territorial Health Officers (ASTHO) and the American Public Health Association (APHA) are advisers to the project.

Funding for CSG's Healthy States Initiative is provided by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), under cooperative agreement U38/CCU424348. Links to additional information about our partners and advisers can be found in the left sidebar.
